Marcie Amba Wallace received her 300 and 500 hour trainings through the Lotus Yoga Teacher Training Program. An avid practitioner in the vinyasa style, she teaches a strong vinyasa flow with an emphasis on alignment. She is a firm believer that yoga is for everyone. As a result, she teaches to the elderly and disabled population, teen, kid's, chair and restorative yoga.
Tapping into different capabilities keeps her own practice, both inner and outer, fresh and invigorating. Marcie is forever grateful to her Guruji, Sri Reverend Jaganath Carrera, for guiding her on the path. Also much gratitude is extended to Genny Kapuler for her infinite wisdom, gentle guidance and friendship and Jennifer Kohl for starting her on the path. Finally, Marcie would not be traveling this path without the strong support of her husband, four children and dog, the true yogis in her life.
A lifelong exercise enthusiast inspired by movement and dance, Helen was first re-introduced to Yoga at her local fitness studio. Having previously practiced during her college years, she was very excited to begin again. Practicing Vinyasa power flow for many years as a gym member, she realized how powerful Yoga was on so many levels. As her interest grew, so did Helen's thirst for advancing her practice. Knowing that Yoga is a total body, mind and spiritual experience, she began exploring different ways to use her passion for yoga. Helen began to practice yoga on a regular basis and knew she wanted to share her passion. She continued with self -studying and then decided to enroll and complete her 200 RYT through YOUnique Yoga in Cedar Grove. Helen also decided to become certified as a Children's Yoga Instructor at Naturally Yoga in Glen Rock. Once certified, she began to teach Social Skills/Yoga fusion classes in her district. (Helen currently work as a school counselor for students with special needs, in Glen Rock, NJ).
Grateful to her family for their support and encouragement, her yoga teachers and her one true mentor, she remains eternally grateful and humbly blessed. Helen sends much thanks and gratitude to Sheryl for opening her heart to such a magnificent experience!
I’ve enjoyed dancing my whole life and can never get enough of it – so becoming a Zumba instructor seemed like a natural thing to do! I love how Zumba has helped promote dancing as a viable form of exercise. I am licensed to teach Zumba and Zumba Gold. The reason I love to teach Zumba is simple: Every class feels like a party! Come join me and you'll see what I mean. You don't even have to know how to dance. Just move your body and follow my lead. It's easy!

Angela has earnestly been on the path of practice since 1999 when a friend invited her to a Thich Nhat Hanh based sangha (meditation group) where she felt like she had come home. Continuing to meet weekly with the sangha in a yoga studio, she began taking yoga classes and workshops there. It was in a workshop with Suzie Hurley in 2002 that the seed for becoming a yoga teacher was planted. Having been a high school math teacher, licensed professional counselor, and a lover of dance and music; Angela's shift to becoming a yoga teacher was a natural one. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in the fall of 2006 at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, her 500 hour advanced teacher training with Sheryl and Neil Edsall at Naturally Yoga in the fall of 2011, and is registered with the Yoga Alliance.
With deep gratitude to her teachers and for the path of practice, Angela's intention
for right livelihood is realized by the opportunity to teach yoga. She understands the reciprocal relationship of her own personal practice and that of her teaching. It is both for herself and her students that she works to create safe and sacred spaces where the seeds of peace, love, compassion, and grace can be watered so that beautiful flowers can bloom.
