About DNJ
Welcome to the new Downtown New Jersey website.

In the first three months of 2009, Downtown NJ has taken an active role on issues affecting business districts in small towns and big cities. In February we held a Retail RX forum featuring Joe Getz of JGSC Group, LLC. Joe spoke to a large crowd of Downtown managers and Municipal representatives about what they can do to help their retailers through this economy. Last week, Commissioner Joseph Doria, NJ Dept. of Community Affairs, spoke to more than 75 members and guests at our new "Issues Forum" series. Comm. Doria, along with Caren Francini, EDA, Jef Buehler, Main Street New Jersey and Stuart Koperweis of S3X. I am very pleased to tell you that DNJ membership continues to grow and diversify with professionals from both the public and private sector. That means when DNJ takes a position on issues it is balanced and respected. Of course, membership levels matter so I hope you will renew your membership in Downtown NJ. I am convinced that you will find the new direction and timely programs informative and useful in your professional capacity.
We know firsthand about budget constraints. With that in mind, DNJ agreed to keep membership dues affordable because it was important to keep you involved.
I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming issues forums and invite you to send us topic suggestions. If you have any questions about your membership category, please call Beth Lippman, Executive Director. Beth will be happy to assist you in renewing your membership.

Sincerely,

Kathleen Miller Prunty, DNJ President
Director, Cranford Downtown Management Corporation
